Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and administer construction contracts (FIDIC or similar) for building projects
Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications during pre-contract and post-contract stages
Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and purchase agreements
Monitor contract compliance, variations, claims, and change orders
Prepare and evaluate interim and final payment applications
Assess and prepare variation orders, claims, extensions of time (EOT), and cost impact analyses
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors on contractual matters
Track project costs, budgets, and forecasts to ensure financial control
Handle contractual correspondence, notices, and dispute resolution support
Assist in risk identification and mitigation related to contractual and commercial issues
Support final account preparation and contract close-out
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
Minimum 6 years of experience in contracts/commercial roles within a building contracting company
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, BOQs, claims, and cost control
Experience with building projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use)
Familiarity with FIDIC or similar standard forms of contract
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with contract or cost management software is an advantage
