Job Description

Our organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Contracts & Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential to managing the procurement and contracting strategies that support our business goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management, procurement procedures, and vendor relationship management. You will work closely with multiple departments to align procurement strategies with the organization s operational and financial goals. The Senior Contracts & Procurement Specialist will ensure best practices in sourcing, negotiation, and contract execution, leveraging market intelligence and analytical skills to maximize value. This position offers the opportunity to play a leading role in shaping the procurement strategy of a forward-thinking organization.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement contracting strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Lead complex procurement processes from end-to-end, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions efficiently to secure favorable agreements with vendors.
  • Manage ongoing vendor relationships, ensuring top performance and service quality.
  • Conduct risk assessments on procurement activities and suggest mitigating actions.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals, conduct market research, and establish competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.
  • Monitor contractual performance and ensure contract compliance and enforcement.
  • Prepare and maintain all procurement documentation and reporting for audit readiness.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve procurement processes and systems.
  • Facilitate training for internal stakeholders on procurement practices and procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting procurement practices.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in procurement and contract management.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record in vendor management.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement and contract management software systems.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and manage cross-functional team relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
