decisions, margin protection, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product & Batch Costing

Develop and maintain standard cost models for all formulations, premixes, and
toll-blended products.

Prepare batch-wise actual costing, including raw materials, packaging, utilities,
labor, overheads, and rework.

Analyze cost variances (material yield, batch losses, QC rejections, reprocessing).
Maintain BOM cost accuracy in coordination with Production & QC.
2. Inventory & Material Control

Monitor RM/PM consumption vs. standards and highlight deviations.
Conduct monthly inventory valuation using weighted average or standard costing.
Support cycle counts and stock audits; reconcile physical vs. book inventory.
Track slow-moving, expired, and non-moving inventory with actionable insights.
3. Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly cost reports, including product profitability, plant overhead
absorption, and cost trends.
Support management with pricing inputs, margin simulations, and cost-to-serve
analysis.
Analyze procurement price trends and their impact on product margins.
4. Operational Support
Work closely with Production, QC, and Supply Chain to ensure cost discipline across
the plant.

Validate job orders, batch sheets, and consumption reports for accuracy.
Support new product costing, toll-blending quotations, and customer-specific cost
models.

5. Compliance & Controls

Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
Maintain documentation for costing SOPs, version control, and audit trails.
Support external and internal audits with cost-related data.
