Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Your core duties will include:

  • System Development & Management: Establish and continuously improve the company's cost accounting system, documentation, and financial records to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Variance Analysis: Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing Standard Costs to Actual Production Costs.
  • Cost Auditing & Control: Prepare for and complete internal cost audit processes to ensure adherence to financial policies and control expenditures effectively.
  • Pricing & Estimation: Estimate costs for all new and proposed products and services, and analyze the cost impact of any changes to existing offerings.
  • Profitability Reporting: Provide management with detailed analytical reports that identify and compare the factors affecting the pricing and overall profitability of products and services.
  • Inventory Management: Review and monitor inventory accounts, oversee physical inventory counts, and maintain oversight of the inventory program/system.
  • General Ledger Support: Assist with account reconciliation, including preparing relevant General Ledger (GL) entries related to cost of goods sold and inventory.
  • Routine Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly expense reports for all company activities and submit them to management within the established deadline (no later than the seventh day of each month).

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget preparation and cost control.
  • Familiarity with project management processes and tools.
