Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budget
- Develop and maintain cost tracking systems
- Analyze and report on cost variances
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with project teams to forecast and track costs
- Prepare cost estimates for new projects
- Review and approve invoices and contracts
- Conduct regular audits to ensure cost control measures are being followed
- Provide cost analysis and reporting to management
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cost control
Certification in cost engineering or related field is preferred
Experience in the construction industry is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in cost control software and tools
Strong organizational and time management abilities
