Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain cost control systems and procedures for multiple large-scale projects.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
- Prepare detailed cost reports, variance analyses, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to gather and validate cost data.
- Analyze project performance, identify cost overruns, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Review and verify contractor and supplier invoices for accuracy and compliance with contracts.
- Support tendering and procurement processes by providing accurate cost estimates and analysis.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly cost control reports for senior management review.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all cost control activities.
- Participate in project meetings, providing insights on cost trends, risks, and opportunities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of proven experience in cost control within construction, engineering, or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of cost control principles, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
