Role Description
As a D365 CE Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver high-quality technical solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
What You ll Be Doing Core Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical design specifications.
• Develop and configure custom entities, fields, forms, workflows, and business rules using the D365 CE platform.
• Design and implement custom plugins, workflows, and custom actions to extend the functionality of D365 CE.
• Integrate D365 CE with external systems using various integration technologies such as REST APIs, OData, and custom integration solutions.
• Develop custom .NET code, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS as needed to meet specific business requirements.
• Design and execute data migration strategies to move data from legacy systems into D365 CE using data import/export tools.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in system testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the developed solutions.
• Identify and implement performance optimization techniques to enhance the performance of D365 CE solutions.
• Document technical designs, solution configurations, and customizations to facilitate knowledge sharing and future support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical support and guidance to end-users, and resolve issues related to D365 CE.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments, updates, and best practices related to D365 CE and related technologies.
Experience & Qualification
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a D365 CE Developer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the D365 CE platform and its capabilities.
• Proficiency in customizing and configuring D365 CE entities, fields, forms, workflows, and business rules.
• Experience with plugin and workflow development using C# and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of integration technologies and experience in integrating D365 CE with external systems.
• Familiarity with .NET development, web services, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
• Knowledge of data migration strategies and tools for D365 CE.
• Experience in performance optimization and tuning of D365 CE solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Microsoft certifications in D365 CE development (such as MB-400: Microsoft Power Apps + Dynamics 365 Developer) are a plus.
