Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Act as the main data partner for Finance, collaborating with Technical, Product, Engineering, Data Platform, and Accounting.

  • Own data collection, reconciliation, and validation across ERP, billing systems, data warehouse, and revenue pipelines.
  • Design and maintain financial fact tables, revenue models, cost allocations, and profitability frameworks.
  • Partner with Finance to define revenue recognition rules and cost attribution methodologies.
  • Ensure month-end closing data is complete, consistent, and aligned with Finance & Accounting requirements.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and automated data pipelines.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on revenue, cost trends, merchant behavior, pricing changes, and cash-flow drivers.

Desired Candidate Profile

4 7 years of experience in data analytics, finance analytics, FP&A, or a related quantitative role.

  • Expert-level SQL (able to write optimized, complex queries on large datasets).
  • Strong BI experience (Tableau, Looker, Metabase, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
    • Revenue recognition
    • Accounting fundamentals
    • Financial modeling
  • Experience working with ERPs, billing systems, or financial data pipelines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and rigorous data validation discipline.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to simplify complex financial concepts.

  • Experience in ecommerce or fintech data environments.
  • Familiarity with VAT/ZATCA, e-invoicing, or regulatory reporting.
  • Python for automation & analysis.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse modeling (dimensional modeling, SCDs, fact tables).
