Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be involved in various tasks such as:
- Design, develop and optimize scalable data architectures on Databricks and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement and industrialize robust data pipelines (batch & streaming).
- Define and maintain engineering standards: good practices, security, governance, data quality.
- Collaborating with Data Science, Product and Architecture teams to transform business needs into reliable technical solutions.
- Ensuring the performance, availability and resilience of data platforms and processing.
- Participate in the migration, modernization or redesign of existing data environments to Databricks or GCP.
- To provide technical guidance to more junior Data Engineers and contribute to the skills development of the team.
- Document the solutions and ensure the continuous improvement of technical processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Engineer, ideally in advanced cloud environments.
- Ma trise des technologies Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow) ou des services GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub ).
- Excellentes comp tences en Python, SQL et frameworks distribu s (Spark, Beam ).
- Expertise en conception d architectures data : Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse moderne.
- Knowledge of CI/CD best practices, versioning and automation (Git, Jenkins, Cloud Build).
- Mastery of DevOps/MLOps environments: Docker, orchestration (Airflow, Cloud Composer), monitoring.
- Solid foundations in data security and governance.
- Ability to analyze, solve complex problems and propose reliable technical solutions.
- Good interpersonal skills, collaborative spirit, autonomy and a sense of quality.
