Key Responsibilities:

• Comply with and contribute to the continuous improvement of Jeel s data science policies, governance frameworks, and MLOps standards.
• Ensure all AI solutions adhere to approved data privacy, cybersecurity, and ethical AI protocols (SAMA, NCA, GDPR).
• AI & Data Science Strategy Execution
• Develop AI/ML models to support business initiatives and automate decision-making.
• Translate complex business problems into statistical and machine learning solutions.
• Implement and manage MLOps pipelines for production-grade AI systems.
• Explore cutting-edge technologies such as LLMs, NLP, and RAG for fintech applications.
• Analytics & Business Intelligence
• Conduct predictive and prescriptive analytics to generate actionable insights.
• Utilise tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Superset for interactive data visualisations.
• Build and refine real-time analytics solutions using big data platforms.
• Performance Optimisation & Cost Efficiency
• Optimise model performance using distributed computing and cloud-native techniques.
• Monitor and retrain models to ensure reliability, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Apply cloud cost optimisation strategies for scalable AI deployment.
• Data Engineering & Deployment
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using Spark, Kafka, Hadoop.
• Deploy AI models via Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure robust data infrastructure (SQL/NoSQL) for AI solutions.
• Data Governance, Ethics & Compliance
• Ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance (SAMA, GDPR, NCA).
• Promote responsible AI practices and ethical machine learning.
• Maintain data lineage, metadata tracking, and governance logs.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
• Partner with product managers, business leads, and engineers to define AI use cases.
• Advise business stakeholders on the integration of AI in product roadmaps.
• Contribute to cross-functional data and AI capability building.
• Conduct retrospectives and apply lessons learned to improve modelling pipelines and tools.
• Research and introduce new frameworks and libraries for accelerated data science workflows.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to their technical development plans.
• Provide feedback on team code reviews, model accuracy, and experimentation design.
• Produce technical documentation, performance dashboards, and executive summaries.
• Present model insights and data stories to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure all system designs and enhancements comply with organisational cybersecurity, data governance, and quality control standards.
• Support cross-functional innovation initiatives and PoCs for AI-based product enhancements.
• Engage in regulatory audits, vendor evaluations, and community AI events on behalf of Jeel.
