Senior Design Manager - MEP Bloom Holding

JOB PURPOSE:

The Senior Design Manager MEP is responsible for managing the design, coordination, and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned projects. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality MEP designs, compliance with standards, and effective coordination with internal teams and external consultants to achieve project objectives efficiently.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Manage the design and development of MEP systems across multiple projects from concept to detailed design stages
• Coordinate with consultants and internal disciplines (Architecture, Structural, Construction) to ensure integrated design delivery
• Review MEP drawings, calculations, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards
• Support the development of project timelines, resource plans, and deliverables schedules
• Monitor progress of design deliverables and ensure timely submission
• Conduct site visits and coordinate with site teams to ensure implementation aligns with design intent and quality standards
• Assist in resolving technical issues during design and construction phases
• Contribute to value engineering initiatives and cost optimization without compromising quality
• Support sustainability and energy-efficient design strategies in line with project goals
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation as required
• Maintain proper documentation and records of design development

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in MEP design and coordination
• Proven experience in managing mid-to-large scale projects
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and standards (ASHRAE, NEC, local regulations)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, Dialux, or similar tools
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
