Key Responsibilities
- Lead design development for complex wet utilities and land development projects across the region
- Work with engineers, architects, project managers, and project directors to coordinate design requirements, technical standards, and compliance
- Oversee the design process, supervise project staff, and support coordination with authorities for zoning and land-use requirements
- Provide discipline input to staffing budgets, forecasting, assignment schedules, and resource planning
- Monitor design quality and overall project progress to ensure production standards are met
- Collaborate with Project Managers to address and prevent technical, schedule, or productivity-related challenges
- Contribute to standards, procedures manuals, and recommend improvements to engineering workflows
- Provide input for annual salary planning and discipline development
- Participate in pre-contract and business development activities as a technical expert
- Support the Quality Improvement Program and actively contribute to internal committees and knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Lead technical outputs on major multidisciplinary projects as the nominated design manager

Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in civil engineering or a related field
Minimum 18 years of experience in infrastructure or land development design, including at least 10 years in the Middle East
Strong background in wet utilities design covering stormwater, sewer, and drainage networks
Experience managing large teams of engineers, designers, and technical specialists
Deep knowledge of UAE regulations, building codes, and engineering standards
Proven ability to lead complex engineering assignments and resolve technical challenges
Strong command of engineering software tools and current industry technologies
Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working with contractors, consultants, and government entities
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Master s degree or Professional Engineer registration is an advantage
