Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Senior Mechanic is responsible for maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of diesel power plant equipment to ensure smooth and continuous operation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance of diesel power plant equipment
- Carry out repair and servicing of mechanical systems
- Work on Wartsila or CAT MAK diesel generators
- Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Ensure proper functioning of engines and mechanical components
- Coordinate with operations and electrical teams
- Maintain maintenance records and reports
- Follow safety procedures and HSE standards
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 68 years experience in diesel power plant maintenance
- Experience in Wartsila or CAT MAK generators
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine maintenance
- Troubleshooting and repair skills
- Knowledge of safety standards
