Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of the automated warehouse, from concept to operational
- Serve as the primary decision maker on technology selection, warehouse automation architecture, and process redesign.
- Align overall project timelines and dependencies with relevant external authorities and in line with business requirements to ensure transition timelines.
- Manage our partners and vendors to deliver the solution and manage internal
- Lead supplier integration of automation (ASRS/robotics/AGVs) with MRO, maintenance operations, and ERP/MRO systems (as required).
- Manage dependencies, risks, issues, and strategic alignment with the full transformation.
- Drive change management and lead engagement in workshops, design, and development.
Desired Candidate Profile
Must-Have
- 15+ years-experience in the Aviation industry (MRO specialism preferred).
- Proven experience leading MRO transformation initiatives such as maintenance process redesign, turnaround optimization, maintenance planning improvements, or MRO operational model changes.
- Deep understanding of airline material logistics, technical stores operations, or aviation maintenance processes.
- Knowledge of aircraft MRO regulatory frameworks and bodies (GACA/FAA/EASA).
- Experience managing large-scale transformation or automation projects with multiple
- Ability to translate operational needs into technical requirements for automation and IT
- Excellent leadership, communication, and executive-level stakeholder management
Nice-to-Have
- Prior experience with warehouse automation technologies or digital logistics
- Experience integrating WMS/MES/ERP systems (e.g., AMOS, TRAX, SAP).
- Background in industrial automation or cross-industry process improvement.
