HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Establishing a Rigorous Pre-Opening Operational Setup Program:
    • Equip new teams with the necessary tools and guidance to operate according to brand standards and achieve operational excellence from the outset.
    • Visit and collaborate with regional teams and hotel leadership on-site prior to opening as needed.
    • Provide feedback on plans with a focus on operational efficiency and advise AD&C project teams on operational requirements and opportunities.
    • Assist Development, feasibility, and regional finance in preparing, reviewing, and presenting the pre-opening budget, working capital plan, operating budget, staffing levels, and operational practices.
  • Leading Operational Training and SOP Maintenance:
    • Oversee and conduct relevant operational training on-site.
    • Maintain proprietary Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all property departments for the management company.
  • Supporting the VP of Operations and Regional Teams:
    • Develop a comprehensive cycle of opening for the region.
    • Collaborate with corporate and hotel teams to gather recent data and build scalable models for openings, covering all stages pre and post deal signing.
    • Provide expert consultation to adapt and develop tools and resources for the Cycle of Opening.
  • Innovating Operational Procedures:
    • Challenge existing procedures to develop new, efficient approaches while maintaining standards.
    • Support and explore the potential for fast-track conversions.
  • Ensuring Seamless Handover Processes:
    • Build strong relationships with colleagues to ensure a seamless transition for hotel teams and ownership from pre-opening to operating.
  • Localizing O&T Content:
    • Adapt and customize O&T content and solutions to meet regional needs.
  • Managing Regional Roadmap Content:
    • Review and lead regional roadmap content on Hilton s corporate Salesforce platform, ensuring all tools and solutions are up-to-date and functional.
  • Leading Various Transition Projects:
    • Oversee transition projects within Hilton s owned and operated estate, including brand changes, management type transitions, ownership changes, lease management, terminations and exits, seasonal operations, closures and re-openings, and major redevelopment or repositioning projects

  • Define Opening Processes and Operational readiness for new line of business like Branded Residences and Nile Cruises.
  • Distribute workload and projects across the team, based on volume, complexity and skills.
