Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Reviewing and assessing the feasibility of proposed 11 kV network reinforcement projects, ensuring alignment network standards, system reliability requirements, and other technical criteria.

Carrying out load flow and short-circuit studies using DIgSILENT PowerFactory to evaluate network capacity, voltage profiles, and system reliability under various loading conditions.

Reviewing network capability and adequacy to accommodate new customer loads or development projects, and identifying the most technically and economically viable connection points while maintaining reliability and stability of the 11 kV system.

Based on the annual peak load report, preparing the plan for yearly network improvement projects to enhance system reliability, reduce network constraints, and support load growth.

Verifying the compliance of all 11 kV network designs and drawings with the OES, Distribution Code, and Grid Code requirements, ensuring adherence to reliability and safety standards.

Supporting the preparation of feasibility and detailed design reports for 11 kV Load and Non-Load Investment Projects, including technical justification, system reliability analysis, and recommended network configurations.

Ensuring that all 11 kV network improvement proposals meet planning criteria, reliability standards, and the long-term system development objectives.
