Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all on-site electrical engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, and technical documents to guide site execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedules.
- Ensure all electrical work adheres to regulations, and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and site technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
- Prepare and maintain accurate site reports, documentation, and progress updates for stakeholders.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of electrical materials and equipment.
- Participate in site meetings, inspections, and handover processes to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5-7 years of proven experience in electrical site engineering within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and safety protocols.
- Experience with large-scale residential or commercial construction projects.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and MS Office Suite.
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
