Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical design solutions across all project stages, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Prepare electrical design packages for building services, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-current systems

  • Develop single-line diagrams, load calculations, lighting layouts, circuiting, and panel schedules
  • Produce technical drawings, specifications, and design reports
  • Ensure compliance with SBC, NEC, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and ASHRAE standards
  • Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and civil teams
  • Participate in design coordination and client meetings
  • Contribute to all design stages from concept to construction documentation
  • Support BOQ preparation, tender technical evaluations, and vendor submittal reviews
  • Review drawings and documents to ensure technical accuracy and quality

Desired Candidate Profile

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum five years of experience in Electrical Design within a Consulting Engineering company (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of SBC Code
  • Proven experience in designing building services systems (commercial, residential, healthcare, or industrial projects)
  • Software Skills
  • AutoCAD and Revit MEP (highly preferred)
  • Dialux or Relux for lighting calculations
  • ETAP or similar power system analysis tools
  • MS Office and project tracking tools
