Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and oversee electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment and facilities.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and implement automation solutions.
- Ensure all electrical systems comply with local and international safety standards and regulations.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including schematics, technical reports, and maintenance logs.
- Manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for electrical systems and machinery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and maintenance staff.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies or equipment to improve plant performance and energy efficiency.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized electrical projects and services.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years and up to 7 years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with electrical system design, installation, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, and industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and electrical codes (local and international).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
