Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection and surveillance of electrical installation works in accordance with approved ITPs

  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and project specifications

  • Inspect electrical materials, installation methods, and workmanship at site

  • Verify hazardous area classifications and electrical installations in hazardous locations

  • Review and validate inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation

  • Ensure quality system requirements are implemented and maintained

  • Coordinate with contractors, QA/QC teams, and client representatives

  • Support audits, inspections, and quality reviews as required

  • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation

Desired Candidate Profile

The Senior Electrical Inspector is responsible for carrying out inspection and quality surveillance activities for electrical works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable international standards, and quality management system requirements. The role supports safe and compliant execution of electrical installations within oil & gas and petrochemical projects.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering in the relevant electrical discipline with minimum 4 years of inspection experience

  • Industrial / Technical Diploma with minimum 8 years of relevant inspection experience

  • Proven experience in electrical inspection within oil & gas or petrochemical projects

  • Working knowledge of Electric Code (NEC / NFPA 70), IEC, or equivalent standards

  • Experience in electrical installations, materials, methods, and specifications

  • Relevant certifications such as NCPCCI, NFPA 70 Certified, or equivalent

  • Sound awareness and working knowledge of Quality Management Systems

  • If applicable, valid ARAMCO CBT with SAP number and CBT details
