Job Title: Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt

Job Summary We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous operation of electrical, automation, and control systems within the plant. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience in industrial maintenance environments.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Lead preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities for electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in industrial production lines and utility systems.
• Ensure maximum equipment availability and operational efficiency.

Automation & Control Systems

• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Siemens PLC systems (S7-300, S7-400, and S7-1200).
• Support and maintain Siemens HMI applications.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) and inverters.
• Monitor and improve automation and instrumentation systems performance.

Power Distribution Systems

• Maintain and troubleshoot medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems.
• Oversee electrical distribution networks, motor control centers, and control panels.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and guide maintenance technicians and engineers.
• Provide technical coaching and knowledge transfer to maintenance team members.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Prepare maintenance reports, root cause analyses, and technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and reliability enhancement.
• Participate in maintenance planning and project implementation activities.

Technical Requirements

• 5 7 years of practical experience in:
  • Industrial electrical maintenance.
  • Automation systems.
  • Instrumentation and control systems.
  • Industrial electrical power systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Medium-voltage and low-voltage systems.
  • Industrial electrical distribution and control systems.
• Proven experience in programming and troubleshooting:
  • Siemens PLC (S7-300 / S7-400 / S7-1200).
  • Siemens HMI.
  • VSDs / Inverters.
• Experience with the following manufacturers is highly preferred:
  • Siemens.
  • Schneider Electric.
  • ABB.
  • LENZE.
  • SEW.
• Previous experience in heavy industries or manufacturing plants is highly preferred, particularly within industrial zones such as:
  • 10th of Ramadan City.
  • 6th of October City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a governmental university (mandatory).
• Preferred graduates from:
  • Cairo University.
  • Ain Shams University.
  • Alexandria University.
  • Helwan University.
  • Al-Azhar University.
