Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor electrical works on-site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, shop drawings, and technical documents.
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and MEP teams to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems.
  • Inspect installation of electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, low current systems, earthing, and grounding.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and progress.
  • Verify material deliveries, check conformity with specifications, and ensure proper storage.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing method statements, technical submittals, and work progress reports.
  • Resolve technical issues, liaising with consultants and project managers when required.
  • Monitor subcontractors performance and ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on-site.
  • Attend site meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5:8 years) as an electrical site engineer in construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and MEP drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
