Wood is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to join its Iraq business unit focusing on ensuring safe design, implementation, and maintenance of Safety Instrumented Systems for a Major Onshore Brownfield Project in Basra, Iraq on 6/1 work schedule. This role is a full-time on-site role in Basra, Iraq with travel requirement.

Job Objectives:

Lead electrical engineering support for automation and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical design and review

EMC compliance for instrumentation

Interface with automation systems

Commissioning and troubleshooting

Expected:

Minimum Experience: 10+ years

Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

Electrical systems in hazardous areas

EMC for instrumentation applications

Integration with PCS and SIS
