Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the complete installation of complex elevator systems, ensuring adherence to blueprints, specifications, and safety codes.
  • Diagnose and resolve intricate mechanical and electrical issues, using advanced troubleshooting techniques and specialized tools.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of installation mechanics, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster skill development.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to streamline installation processes and minimize delays.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for completion of a certified elevator mechanic apprenticeship program.
  • Hold a valid elevator mechanic license or certification, demonstrating competence and adherence to industry standards.
  • Exhibit a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in elevator installation, with a proven track record of successful projects.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of various elevator systems, including hydraulic, traction, and machine-room-less configurations.
