Job Responsibilities:

General Responsibilities:

  • The employee should carry out his duties and responsibilities proactively, with skill care, and due diligence, in good faith and in the Company s best interest.
  • The employee should provide reasonable assistance to the PM/Direct Manager relevant to his discipline in gaining permits, licenses, and certificates from authorities.
  • The Employee should proactively evaluate issues raised during the design compliance reviews relevant to his discipline and support all key stakeholders in resolving them.
  • The employee should complete the compliance review reports of assigned design review projects within the specified deadline.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • The employee shall have a comprehensive understanding of the Saudi Building Codes, NFPA 72, NEC, NFPA 101, and NFPA 110 amongst other standards and codes pertaining to the Fire Alarm, Voice Evacuation, Two Way Communication, emergency and exit lighting.
  • The employee shall have expertise in the design and construction supervision of fire alarm and emergency communication systems through experience on complex projects with relevant trainings and certifications.
  • The employee shall review and evaluate the drawings, specifications, reports, calculations and other relevant documents to verify the compliance with relevant local and international regulations.
  • This position requires further expertise in the security systems, including design review of complex projects for compliance with the MOI requirements and relevant international standards.
  • The employee shall have in-depth knowledge and experience of security risk assessment, security strategies and threat analysis.
  • The employee shall have expertise in evaluating security specifications, communication protocols, plans, reports and calculations for compliance with the MOI requirements and relevant codes/standards.
  • The employee shall review and evaluate that all systems and components are compatible with each other, ensuring their seamless integration.
  • The candidate shall have knowledge of design and construction supervision pertaining to the BMS, ICT, disabled toilet alarm, radio communication, etc.
  • The employee is required to have full knowledge and details of the scope and the requirements of the Works relevant to his discipline for which he is required to supervise and review, ensuring that the Works schedule is adhered to and complies with the Project Documents.
  • The employee shall review and approve, in consultation with the direct manager, and highlight any discrepancies, non-workable and/ or missing details relevant to his discipline in a timely manner.
  • The employee shall proactively resolve potential issues in quality, compliance, and design relevant.
  • The employee will provide full support and assistance on the assigned projects.
  • Supervise and validate the construction Works relevant to his discipline to verify that the Works are constructed in accordance with the approved shop drawings and technical specifications and to the specified quality.
  • The employee should report to the direct manager about any gaps, inadequacies, or errors in the design documents that are non-conforming with the local and applicable international regulations.
  • Prepare compliance reports, trackers and checklists of the assigned projects relevant to the ELV systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree or more in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 10+ years of experience in the field of ELV engineering.
  • Excellent knowledge of engineering systems, technologies, principles, codes and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with relevant software programs (MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit/BIM).
  • Must be SCE Certified (Desirable Classification: Professional or Consultant).
  • Must have a Valid and Transferable Iqama (if Non-Saudi).
  • CFPE/CFPS certification is desirable.
