Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, test, and commission ELV systems including:
- CCTV & Video Surveillance Systems.
- Access Control & Time Attendance Systems.
- Intrusion Detection Systems.
- Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber Optic).
- Public Address & Voice Evacuation Systems.
- Interpret and execute work based on technical drawings and schematics.
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians on-site.
- Perform cable routing, termination, labeling, and testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system faults efficiently.
- Coordinate with project engineers and managers for site activities.
- Ensure adherence to installation standards, QA/QC procedures, and HSE policies.
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and client demonstrations.
- Prepare installation reports, test reports, and as-built documentation.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of ELV systems and structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA).
- Experience with fiber optic splicing, testing (OTDR), and certification.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and layouts.
- Experience in large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabia project environments and standards is a plus.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience: 3 6 years of hands-on experience in ELV system installation and commissioning.
Education & Certifications:
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
- BICSI Technician / Installer Certification.
- Fiber Optic Certification (FOA or equivalent).
- Manufacturer Certifications (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Honeywell, Bosch).
- Low Current Systems Certification.
- Structured Cabling Certification (Panduit, CommScope, etc.).
Languages:
- Fluent Arabic & English (Mandatory)
