Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the civil design aspects of high-voltage transmission line projects, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct detailed site investigations and surveys, including geotechnical analysis, to inform foundation design and tower placement strategies.
• Develop and review detailed civil engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for transmission line structures, access roads, and related infrastructure.
• Manage and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural engineers, environmental specialists, and construction contractors, throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform load calculations and structural analysis of transmission line components, ensuring the integrity and safety of the designs.
• Prepare and review project budgets, schedules, and cost estimates, monitoring progress and controlling expenditures effectively.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials and construction methods for civil works, optimizing for cost-effectiveness and durability.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering principles.
• Holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license, showcasing a commitment to professional standards and ethical conduct.
