Roles & Responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Trading

Execute Market Making or Liquidity Providing transactions on a daily basis, within the approved mandates and regulatory parameters. Aim to achieve client and company objectives related to stock liquidity and health and P&L targets. Ensure all obligations are fulfilled across both cash equities and derivatives markets, or any contractual obligations related to the liquidity provision business.

  1. Quality Management and Business KPIs

Deliver consistent trading performance and maintain high-quality service standards for the MMLP business lines. Meet or exceed the KPIs set by Management. Analyze market trends and develop trading strategies to maximize returns for the company and its clients.

  1. Adherence to law

Ensure all trading activities are conducted in full compliance with regulatory requirements. Regularly review and verify trading operations to confirm adherence to applicable laws, internal policies, and procedures. Ensure errors are minimized, promptly detected, controlled, and reported.

  1. Internal Liaison

Effectively communicate, establish regular interaction, and maintain formal relationships with all internal departments - including the Customer Management Team, Finance & Operations, and Branch Offices - to ensure and facilitate smooth, single-point service delivery to clients as required.

  1. Knowledge Development

Stay continuously informed of market news, trends, and developments. Enhance expertise in trading, technical and fundamental analysis, and maintain proactive and up-to-date knowledge of the companies and stocks being traded.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Required Qualifications & Skills Mandatory:

    • ARABIC SPEAKER

    1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business

    2. ADX and DFM Trading Licenses (preferred)

    3. Knowledge and experience in UAE equity markets is an advantage

    4. Minimum 5 years of industry experience in an active trading role

    5. Experience in UAE markets is a plus.

    6. Preferred Professional certifications (CMT)


Other COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

  1. Sound knowledge of stock market operations and financial market regulations

  2. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities

  3. Proven ability to manage institutional and corporate client relationships

  4. Effective communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

  5. Resilience in high-pressure, fast[1]paced environments

  6. Proficiency in relevant trading systems and IT tool

  7. Integrity and ethical judgment

  8. Strong team orientation

  9. Initiative and proactive thinking

  10. Strong interpersonal skills
