Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimation Engineer to lead the estimation function for civil and infrastructure projects. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, managing tender submissions, and ensuring competitive pricing strategies aligned with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of cost estimates for:

  • Road and infrastructure projects

  • Pipeline and utility works

  • Earthworks, excavation, and backfilling

  • Material supply and transportation operations

• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications in detail

• Perform advanced quantity take-offs and BOQ analysis

• Develop pricing strategies and cost breakdowns

• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams

• Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options

• Prepare and finalize tender submissions within deadlines

• Participate in client meetings, clarifications, and negotiations

• Maintain and update cost databases and estimation tools

• Mentor and guide junior estimators

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• UAE MOE Equivalency Certificate is mandatory

• 8–12 years of UAE experience in construction/contracting companies

• Strong background in infrastructure, utilities, and earthworks projects

• Proven experience handling large-scale tenders independently

• In-depth knowledge of UAE market rates, suppliers, and subcontractors

• Proficiency in estimation tools (Excel, AutoCAD, Primavera – preferred)

• Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ADNOC / government projects

• Familiarity with prequalification and tendering procedures in Abu Dhabi

• UAE driving license (preferred)

• Leadership experience managing estimation teams
