Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Senior Estimation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our company's success. Your primary responsibility will be to provide accurate and detailed estimates for commercial kitchen projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions. You will work closely with our project management team, offering expert advice and guidance throughout the estimation process.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough site surveys and collect all necessary data for accurate estimation.
Prepare detailed estimates, including material costs, labor requirements, and equipment needs.
Analyze and interpret client requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project scope.
Collaborate with the project management team to develop efficient project plans.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in commercial kitchen design and estimation.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior estimation engineers.
Review and approve estimates prepared by the estimation team, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Maintain excellent communication with clients, addressing their queries and concerns.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, especially regarding health and safety.
Desired Candidate Profile
A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in estimation, with a focus on commercial kitchens.
In-depth knowledge of UAE construction and hospitality industry standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with a track record of guiding junior staff.
Proficiency in estimation software and tools, such as Microsoft Excel and specialized estimation programs.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel within the region for site visits.
