Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prior estimating, field engineering, and/or project management experience with major civil projects such as commercial buildings, residential buildings, malls, towers, plazas, logistics, and warehousing within industrial, and other structures.
- Prepare, analyze and evaluate costing/estimation for bid construction projects in accordance with Client requirements.
- Identify potential solutions to optimize the client's requirements (Value Engineering, Alternatives, etc.)
- Prepare & send Request for Information's (RFIs) to Client/Consultant.
- Leading a team of professional staff to provide guidance, to mentor & train to perform highly specialize task.
- Familiar with local laws and authority regulations.
- Conduct site visits to obtain information to supplement and to make the information / data more accurate.
- Attend internal & external meetings and as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
* Experience:
- 20 years with minimum of 15 years related experience in UAE, preferably in construction industry.
- Positive attitude with the desire to continue learning and developing professionally.
- High level of organization and attention to details.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field
*Technical Skills:
- Excellent command in English (speaking and writing)
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with various levels of management.
- Excellent in analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Prior knowledge, AutoCAD, Plan Swift, CCS Candy and P6.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge in Estimation function in Civil Construction Industry within the United Arab Emirates.
