Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate for the sales international team.

Maintain and update EBMS following OCEC roadshows, sales visits, trade shows and meetings and when required.

Coordinate OCEC attendance at local, regional and international tradeshows and conferences.

Process and activate international Sales enquiries.

Assist with client quotations, general proposals and assist in bid preparation documents.

Develop close relationships with organizers and potential clients of the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre locally, regionally and internationally.

Assist with and maintain documentation, promotional material and collateral for the Sales International team.

Assist the manager international with production and collation of data for monthly report, including market intelligence and any other tasks as and when required.

General Responsibilities Standards

Develop effective relationships with OCEC management and staff, the Owner, Government representatives, business associates, clients and third-party consultants through appropriate communication and a positive attitude.

Provision of input to reports and correspondence as required.

Participate in training as directed by the OCEC General Manager.

Other duties as directed by the direct manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education Business Degree international business or hospitality.

Experience & Skills Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

Sound oral and written communication skills in both Arabic and English language./p>

Accurate and effective work practices.

Knowledge of data base management.

Ability to prepare and present reports.

Sound understanding and ability to use the internet.

Personal Qualities Outgoing personality.

Excellent communication skills at all levels.

Excellent personal presentation and grooming.

Willingness to work as a team member.

Willingness to accept direction.

Well organized.

Attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
