Senior Expert Hybrid Solution Design

RESPONSIBILITIES

Solution Architecture & Design Ownership

Lead end-to-end design of enterprise ICT and hybrid cloud architectures (on-prem, OCI, Azure, AWS).

Translate customer requirements and RFP/RFI specifications into solution blueprints, bills of materials (BoMs), and cost models.

Define integration patterns across infrastructure, applications, data, and security layers to ensure cohesive system performance.

Validate solution scalability, security posture, and compliance with Otech s standards and client SLAs.

Prepare architecture documents (HLDs, reference diagrams, compliance matrices) for submission and client presentation.

Presales & Opportunity Support

Engage directly with sales teams during opportunity qualification to shape solution direction and scope.

Participate in client workshops, discovery sessions, and technical clarifications.

Contribute technical and architectural content to proposals and presentations, ensuring accuracy and coherence.

Lead solution walk-throughs and technical defence sessions with customer architecture boards.

Estimate effort, cost, and dependencies in coordination with finance and delivery planning teams.

Innovation & Solution Differentiation

Evaluate new technologies and service models (e.g., GenAI, automation, edge computing, observability frameworks) for inclusion in hybrid designs along with back-end Pillars of Cloud and DC, Cyber security, Digital & AI

Develop reusable design templates, reference architectures, and accelerators to shorten bid cycles.

Recommend value engineering options to optimize TCO while maintaining quality.

Maintain a portfolio of validated architectures that can be adapted for future bids or productized into offerings with Bid Management.

Collaboration & Governance

Coordinate and support Domain Architects (Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data, Network) to consolidate multi-domain inputs into unified hybrid solutions.

Liaise with delivery and PMO teams to confirm implementation feasibility and risk mitigation plans.

Ensure alignment between solution commitments and delivery capability to avoid post-award variances.

Support internal design reviews ( red/blue team ) ensuring consistency, compliance, and clarity before submission along with Solutions Architect Manager.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

Serve as Otech s technical point of contact for strategic and complex opportunities.

Engage with client enterprise architects, CTOs, and technical evaluators to validate solution approach.

Provide consultative guidance on transformation roadmaps, migration strategies, and operating models.

Articulate business value of proposed solutions through ROI, scalability, and innovation narratives.

Commercial & Cost Optimization

Develop cost structures for non-standard solutions in coordination with Finance and Sales.

Balance design integrity with commercial competitiveness, maintaining gross margin targets.

Recommend alternative architectures or licensing models that reduce total project cost.

Knowledge Management & Mentorship

Document case studies, reusable components, and lessons learned from delivered solutions.

Mentor pre-sales engineers and junior architects on hybrid design methodologies and best practices.

Contribute to continuous improvement of Otech s solution repository and architecture governance frameworks.

Reporting & Metrics

Maintain accurate data on bid participation, design quality, and win outcomes along with Solutions Architect Manager.

Report solution win rate, pipeline coverage, and architecture reusability metrics along with Solutions Architect Manager

Provide post-bid analysis identifying success factors and improvement areas.
