Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

    • Research
      • Lead and mentor staff in developing and implementing a program of education-related research in alignment with the Academy s Research Strategy and Plan and Centres of Excellence.
    • Teaching and Learning
      • Lead the development and delivery of high-quality, evidence-based academic and HDR programs in alignment with the Academy s course design and delivery framework, international good practice standards, and accreditation standards.
    • Community Engagement and Service
      • Contribute to the overall leadership of the institution through internal committees.
      • Lead community engagement activities that promote the profession and the reputation of the Academy.
    • Networks and Partnerships
      • Develop and nurture local and international networks and partnerships that support the Academy s growth and reputation.
    • Leadership and Management
      • Oversee people, programs, and projects ensuring timely, on-budget delivery and high client satisfaction levels.
      • Promote a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing work culture.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

    • An earned doctorate (PhD/EdD) in education from a reputable internationally accredited university.
    • Experience in teacher education and PreK-12 educational system including supervising student teachers.
    • Experience in teaching and delivering programs in online/hybrid/hyflex modes.
    • Demonstrated successful leadership and management experience.
    • A strong research profile in a relevant education field.
    • Preferred experience working in the UAE or Middle East region.
    • Preferred fluency in both Arabic and English.
