Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, administer, and support IBM FileNet P8 components including Content Platform Engine (CPE), Process Engine (PE), and Administration Console. 

  • Install, configure, and manage IBM DataCap servers, clients, and services; integrate DataCap with FileNet repositories. 

  • Install, configure, and administer IBM WebSphere Application Server environments supporting FileNet, DataCap, and related applications. 

  • Install, configure, and manage IBM Content Navigator including desktops, plugins, repositories, security, and integrations. 

  • Install and manage FileNet Image Services and ensure proper integration with FileNet P8 solutions. 

  • Configure and maintain Content Assistant for intelligent capture, classification, and automation of use cases. 

  • Configure, administer, and monitor Content Search Services including indexing, query optimization, and troubleshooting. 

  • Manage FileNet object stores, document classes, metadata models, workflows, and security configurations. 

  • Install, configure, and maintain FileNet and related components on Linux, AIX, and Windows platforms. 

  • Perform patching, fix packs, upgrades, and hotfixes for FileNet, DataCap, WebSphere, Content Navigator, and related components. 

  • Monitor system performance, availability, and stability; troubleshoot and resolve L2/L3 production issues. 

  • Collaborate with infrastructure and database teams to configure and maintain Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, and Oracle databases. 

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, installation guides, and operational runbooks.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering IBM FileNet P8 environments. 

  • Proven experience installing and managing IBM Content Navigator, IBM DataCap, and IBM WebSphere Application Server. 

  • Practical experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, and Oracle databases in enterprise environments. 

  • Experience deploying and supporting ECM solutions on Linux, AIX, and Windows platforms. 

  • Experience supporting high-availability, mission-critical production systems.
