  • Scope and Functions of the Role

The incumbent is responsible for supporting the identification, evaluation, and execution of greenfield and acquisition opportunities in the education sector through financial modelling, market analysis, and due diligence. Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to advance strategic investment initiatives.

  • Key responsibilities
  1. Market Research & Opportunity Assessment
    • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify greenfield and acquisition opportunities in the education sector.
    • Prepare feasibility studies and market entry assessments for new projects across key geographies.
  2. Financial Analysis & Modelling
    • Build and maintain robust financial models to evaluate investment viability, returns, and risk scenarios.
    • Perform valuation analysis using appropriate methodologies (DCF, precedent transactions, etc.).
  3. Due Diligence & Transaction Support
    • Coordinate financial, legal, and operational due diligence activities in collaboration with internal teams and external advisors.
    • Support the preparation and review of investment memos and transaction documentation.
  4. Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement
    • Liaise with regulatory authorities, financial institutions, and potential partners to facilitate approvals and strategic alignment.
    • Assist in managing communications with external consultants, advisors, and legal counsel.
  5. Execution & Reporting
    • Support negotiations, term sheets, and contract execution for deals and developments.
    • Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and business cases for senior leadership and investment committees.
  • Qualifications, Attributes and Competencies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2 5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or a similar role.
  • Experience with M&A and greenfield development projects, preferably within the education or real estate sector.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).

Skills

  • Advanced financial modelling and valuation expertise.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases/tools.
  • Familiarity with due diligence processes and investment evaluation frameworks.
