Accounts Payable & Invoices:

Process and Review supplier invoices and payment batches

Ensure invoices are aligned with vendor contracts

Ensure proper GL coding and cost allocation

Oversee reconciliations of vendor and customer accounts

Improve AP processes and internal controls

Payments & Cash Management

Process and Review payments (bank transfers, cheques, online payments)

Ensure timely vendor payments

Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts

Manage banking relationships and coordinate with banks

Ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations

Optimize working capital management

Monthly & Year-End Closing:

Lead month-end and year-end closing processes

Review journal entries, accruals, and provisions

Prepare and ensure accurate and timely financial statements

Prepare management reports and financial analysis

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Budgeting & Financial Planning:

Lead with finance Manager the annual budgeting process

Prepare financial forecasts and rolling projections

Analyze budget vs. actual performance

Provide variance analysis with explanations

Support management in financial decision-making

Taxation (VAT, WHT & Income Tax):

Process and review VAT returns and filings

Ensure accurate WHT calculations, documentation and payment

Support corporate income tax computation and filings

Coordinate with tax advisors when required

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and updates

Internal & External Audit Coordination:

Act as key contact for internal and external auditors

Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation

Ensure compliance with internal control procedures

Address audit findings and implement corrective actions
