Responsibilities:
• Ability to perform occupancy load analysis, fire separation, travel distance calculation, defining construction elements, fire access road etc.
• Individually be able to carry out architectural review layout for SBC-201/801 code compliance.
• Efficiently utilize a thorough knowledge of SBC, NFPA 101, NFPA 5000, IBC, and FLS-related international standards.
• Prepare and review the FLS strategy report in line with the SBC FLS code.
• Coordinate and collaborate internally with a Fire & Life Safety engineers team to discuss, assist and resolve the FLS issues to ensure compliance with the SBC FLS Code.
• Lead tasks on projects and report to the Direct Manager.

Requirements:
• B.Sc. (B.Eng.) or M.Sc. (M.Eng) in Fire Safety Engineering/ Architecture Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience practicing Life Safety review and Knowledge of Fire Protection, Fire Alarm and other disciplines will add advantages.
• Sound technical knowledge in Life safety requirements for Residential, Commercial, Stadium, Amusement Park and Hotels sector.
• CFPS or relevant Certifications (Desirable).
• Relevant Software Skills such as Bluebeam and AUTOCAD.
• Good IT skills such as word processing with excellent use of spreadsheets and knowledge of various presentation packages.
• Must have a Valid SCE Membership.
• Must have a Valid IQAMA, if non-Saudi.
