Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing and implementing front-end features in our Angular application, collaborating closely with our core team, and ensuring a clean, maintainable architecture and great user experience around complex billing and contract workflows.

Engagement details

  • Type: Freelance / Project-based
  • Duration: 2 5 months
  • Availability: 30+ hours per week
  • Start: Immediate joiner (very important)
  • Senior-level (3-8 years) experience with Angular front-end development
    • Able to design and implement modular, component-based UIs
    • Comfortable working in a modern Angular codebase with established patterns and conventions
  • Strong TypeScript and front-end engineering skills
    • Writes clean, maintainable, well-structured code
    • Understands best practices for performance and scalability
  • Experience integrating with backend APIs
    • Can work effectively with REST/HTTP services
    • Able to collaborate with backend (.NET) developers on API design and usage
  • Comfortable with complex, domain-heavy UIs
    • Ideally has worked on business applications such as billing, finance, contracts, or similar data-intensive systems
  • Proactive and independent
    • Can take a feature from high-level requirements to implementation and iteration
    • Communicates clearly about progress, risks, and trade-offs

Bonus / Nice to Have

  • Background in .NET / C# / ASP.NET Core (even if primarily front-end)
  • Experience with or interest in AI-assisted development
    • Regularly uses AI tools to speed up implementation, improve code quality, or support testing and documentation
    • Comfortable integrating these tools into daily workflow to achieve high output and fast delivery

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for a strong>Senior Angular Front-End Engineer/strong> to join our team on a strong>freelance, project-based, part-time/strong> basis (minimum strong>30+ hours/week/strong>) to help us advance our billing web application, part of a larger academic billing platform./p>

The ideal candidate is a strong>senior-level engineer/strong> who can take ownership of features end-to-end on the front-end, and who can communicate well in a remote, asynchronous setup.

Experience with strong>.NET backends/strong> and effective use of strong>AI tools in the software development lifecycle/strong> (code assistants, test generation, refactoring support, etc.) is a strong plus.
