Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • -Perform and supervise general ledger accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
  • -Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • -Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
  • -Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal policies.
  • -Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports or statements.
  • -Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts and sub-ledgers.
  • -Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate historical data and analysis.
  • -Review and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure process efficiency and compliance.
  • -Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Tax) for integrated financial management.
  • -Assist in the implementation of new financial systems, tools, or process improvements.
  • -Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • -Bachelor s degree Business Administration or related field.
  • -Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
  • -Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), financial reporting, and audit processes.
  • -Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
  • -Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • -Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • -Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • -Strong communication and interpersonal skills
