Senior Generator Technician (Electrical)

Qualification:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience Required:

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience as a Generator Technician.

• Specialized in the operation and maintenance of high-capacity diesel power generators (1600 KVA and above).

• Previous experience in data center environments or other mission-critical facilities will be an added advantage.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience in the operation, preventive and corrective maintenance of diesel generators.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical systems, control panels, ATS and LV switchgear.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently

• Familiarity with safety standards and maintenance procedures for power generation equipment

• Experience in handling emergency breakdowns and ensuring uninterrupted power supply.

• Familiarity with Load Bank testing & fuel system management.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and electrical layout drawings for maintenance and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills:

• Preparation of service reports.

• Good technical reporting and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
