Senior Geomodeler

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Geomodeler to support a key subsurface project within the Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) asset in Al Khafji. The role is a senior technical authority responsible for leading advanced geomodelling and reservoir characterisation activities, providing high-level technical direction, complex model integration, and mentorship across the geoscience team.

The scope focuses on advanced geological modelling and reservoir characterisation to support field development, optimisation, and data-driven decision-making activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality 3D static geological models
• Integrate and interpret seismic, well log, core, and petrophysical data
• Manage geological datasets and ensure robust quality control processes
• Perform reservoir characterisation for carbonate and clastic systems
• Support modelling and evaluation of low permeability and tight gas reservoirs
• Conduct geophysical data interpretation to support geological frameworks
• Perform model validation, calibration, and uncertainty analysis
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary subsurface and reservoir engineering teams
• Prepare technical reports, maps, presentations, and development recommendations
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced geoscientists
