Roles & Responsibilities

UTM Consultants are looking for a Senior Geophysicist, to assist our client with their pre-engineering geophysical survey project offshore, KSA.

Equipment/Software to be Utilized:

  • Experienced with data Acquisition QC with Coda Software, Processing and Interpretation of Side Scan Sonar, Sub-bottom Profiler and Magnetometer data
  • GLog/GPlot for data acquisition QC - Desirable
  • Starfix. SonarMap and Chesapeake SonarWiz for Sidescan sonar Interpretation - Mandatory
  • Starfix.Interp and /or IHS Kingdom for sub-bottom profiler Interpretation - Mandatory
  • Any one software (such as Geometrics MagLog or Oasis Montaj) to Interpret Magntometer Data - Desirable
  • Must have experience in CARIS, VBA Proc, AutoCAD

The project is due to start on 1st May 2026 and will last approx. 4 weeks

  • H2S Opito Approved valid at least more than 4 months (if available)
  • Digital photo in white background
  • Education Certificate or equivalent
