Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expertly draft and create intricate patterns for high-end abayas, ensuring impeccable fit and design aesthetics, using advanced pattern-making techniques.
  • Execute the entire garment construction process, from fabric selection and cutting to the final finishing touches, with meticulous attention to detail and precision.
  • Conduct precise measurements and fittings with clients, offering personalized style consultations to understand their preferences and body types for bespoke abaya designs.
  • Source and manage high-quality fabrics, trims, and embellishments, negotiating with suppliers to maintain cost-effectiveness while upholding luxury standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A relevant degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Possess a minimum of 8 years of proven experience as a Senior Tailor or Pattern Maker, specializing in high-end abayas, showcasing a deep understanding of abaya construction and design.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in pattern making, draping, and garment construction techniques, with a strong portfolio of completed abaya designs.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using relevant software like CAD for pattern design is advantageous.
