Roles & Responsibilities
The Senior Human Resources Manager plays a critical role within an organization, overseeing the HR department and ensuring that HR programs and initiatives are effectively implemented to support overall business objectives. This senior-level position involves making strategic decisions, managing HR personnel, and acting as a key liaison between the HR department and other departments. The individual will be responsible for driving the organization's human capital strategy, fostering a positive organizational culture, and addressing complex employee relations issues. The ideal candidate should be a seasoned HR professional with strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of HR practices, and the ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies that align with the organization s goals and values.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes to ensure a skilled workforce.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HR laws and regulations.
- Lead and manage the HR team to maximize their contributions and performance.
- Act as a senior advisor to the leadership team on HR-related matters and decisions.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to maintain a positive work environment.
- Handle complex employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Plan and execute performance appraisal and employee development programs.
- Develop and manage HR budgets to ensure cost-efficient operations and activities.
- Review and update HR policies to reflect current practices and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate organizational change and development initiatives where required.
- Monitor and leverage HR analytics to drive data-informed decision making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least 7 10 years of progressive experience in HR management roles.
- Proven experience in leading and developing HR teams successfully.
- Excellent understanding of employment laws and HR best practices nationally.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and strategic decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse group settings.
