The Senior ICT- Electrical is a key member of the Electrical Design Unit. The jobholder has a thorough understanding and experience in the ICT design field and provide technical leadership, oversight and interdisciplinary coordination on electrical design projects.

• Provide technical subject matter expertise to project team members during all stages of design delivery in coordination with Unit Managers and Project Managers
• Develop ICT system designs including structured cabling, fiber optic networks, data/telecom rooms, and containment systems in accordance with project requirements and international standards.
• Prepare detailed design deliverables including drawings, layouts, schematics, BOQs, specifications, and calculations at all project stages (concept, schematic, detailed design).
• Ensure experience with relevant standards such as TIA/EIA, BICSI, ISO/IEC 11801, and local authority regulations.
• Proven previous experience in design of Data center and control rooms.
• Proven previous experience in infrastructure design for big compounds including smart city design.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Architecture) to ensure proper routing, space allocation, and system integration.
• Assist in the distribution of the team members work load to ensure progress is as scheduled
• Closely work with project teams for reviewing design deliverables of design projects, including conducting detailed reviews and checks and the issuance of reports
• Liaise with other departments/units to ensure a proper design coordination
• Conduct QA/QC on design deliverables
