Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed designs for mechanical systems related to infrastructure projects (e.g., pump stations, lift stations, utility pipelines, valves, ventilation).
  • Perform mechanical and hydraulic calculations to support system design and sizing.
  • Prepare technical drawings, design reports, BOQs, and technical specifications.
  • Use specialized design software such as:
    • AutoCAD MEP
    • Revit
    • WaterGEMS / SewerGEMS
    • HAP (for HVAC calculations)
  • Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and equipment data sheets.
  • Coordinate design work with other disciplines (civil, electrical, instrumentation).
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design standards.
  • Support commissioning and testing activities for mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international mechanical codes (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, Saudi Mechanical Code, SMACNA).

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
  • 8 10 years of proven experience in mechanical infrastructure design and supervision
Computer Skills
  • Very good
Languages

Programming
  • Use specialized design software such as: (AutoCAD MEP Revit - WaterGEMS / SewerGEMS - HAP (for HVAC calculations)
