Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for designing I&C documents in coordination with different engineering disciplines.
• Responsible for the development of the I&C design documents; datasheets, material take-off, MRQ, C&E, input/output list, cable list, junction box wiring diagram, logic diagram, and Preparation of Purchase specifications.
• Experience in Developing instrumentation and control system design documents, including specifications, drawings, and calculations.
• Experience in control valve sizing & shutdown valves actuator selection.
• Experience in designing the plant protection, automation, control system.
• Development of the plant DCS, instrumentation and control valves specifications.
• Ensures I&C drawings & designs are produced to meet the project requirements.
• Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
• Documentation for analysis and bid technical evaluations for Suppliers submitted documents, owner and suppliers correspondences, contract verification.
• Site technical support during commissioning and start-up phases.
• Ensuring that I&C deliverables are completed as per the Agreed project schedule & With acceptable Quality.
• Coordinates design activities with other multi-discipline project team members and maintaining good working relationship with internal groups that support projects such as other engineering disciplines, Drafting, Project Management, piping, process, civil, electrical. Etc.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Electrical, Mechatronics, etc.) with I&C design experience is a must.
• Minimum 6-8 years of I&C DESIGN preferable in Oil & Gas industry.
