Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We're looking for a Fullstack Integrations and Support Lead to own and scale our third-party integrations across POS systems, payment gateways, and enterprise platforms. You'll be the connective tissue between our product, our merchants' tech stacks, and external vendors, ensuring every integration is seamless, well-documented, and built to scale.
This is a high-impact role where you'll shape how Local plugs into the broader payments and merchant technology ecosystem across the GCC.
What You'll Do
Lead end-to-end integrations between Local's platform and major POS systems, payment gateways, loyalty platforms, and regulatory systems
Manage the full integration lifecycle: scoping, credential setup, configuration, testing, UAT, and go-live support
Serve as the primary technical point of contact between our engineering team, merchant IT teams, and third-party vendors
Build and maintain integration playbooks, configuration templates, and technical documentation for repeatable, scalable deployments
Drive performance testing and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and reduce integration issues
Support compliance-related integrations including fiscal authority requirements as we expand regionally
Coordinate with and mentor junior team members as the integrations function grows
Act as a technical consultant for key merchants during onboarding, ensuring the quality and integrity of their integration with Local
Desired Candidate Profile
What We're Looking For
4+ years of hands-on experience with POS integrations and/or payment platform integrations in the F&B, hospitality, or healthcare space
Strong familiarity with major POS systems commonly used across the GCC region
Experience working with payment gateways, APIs, and webhook-based architectures
Ability to manage multiple concurrent integrations across different merchants and tech stacks
Clear communicator who can work across engineering, operations, and non-technical stakeholders
Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
Experience in the GCC market is strongly preferred
Bahraini national preferred
Bonus: exposure to healthcare systems integration (EMR/HMS platforms)
