Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end interior design process from concept to execution, ensuring creative vision aligns with client objectives and budgetary constraints throughout every project phase.

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, MEP consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of interior elements within the overall building framework.

  • Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, gather spatial measurements, and ensure all design solutions comply with safety regulations and building codes.

  • Review and Approve technical drawings including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, and FF&E schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

  • Manage interior design budgets, review BOQs and tender packages, and apply value engineering to optimize costs without compromising design quality.

  • Supervise and mentor junior designers, delegate tasks effectively, and support their professional growth in line with the consultancy's design standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution, with advanced degrees preferred.

  • A minimum of 9-15 years of professional experience in interior design, showcasing a robust portfolio of diverse projects.

  • NCIDQ certification or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to industry standards and professional competence.

  • Experience in commercial, residential, or hospitality design, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
